Business Valuer
The Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB) offers an advanced Training Program for senior AIBB Members to qualify to become AIBB Registered Business Valuers (RBV). Graduates of the AIBB's RBV course are positioned to gain recognition from Government, Industry Stakeholders, Financiers and the Public as being professionally competent and Accredited to value the business assets of Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Australia.
Held at Macquarie University, School of Business Management in Sydney over a 6 month period, the course is based on the Australian National Training Authority Diploma Module in Business Broking, and the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board APES 225 Valuation Services.
The course is offered to AIBB Member applicants who can demonstrate at least five years experience as a practicing professional Business Broker and requires completion of the assigned assessments with an overall pass mark of 80%+ in addition to a Peer Review Viva examination.
Graduation occurs annually with a Certification presentation at the AIBB's Annual Members Convention and entitles graduates to join the Valuation Chapter of the Institute where regular updates and Valuation practice methodologies are disseminated and discussed to keep graduates at the pinnacle of Valuation practice.
